Appeal from a judgment of conviction in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York (Arcara, C.J.) of knowingly importing into the United States 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine, 21 U.S.C. §§ 952(a), 960(b)(1)(H), and knowingly possessing with the intent to distribute a mixture containing methamphetamine, id. § 841(a)(1), with a resulting sentence principally consisting of 235 months’ imprisonment.
